"It was easier to helm the boat than drive my van. That is when I realised I needed to be at sea."
We believe no disability should stand between a person and the open sea. We've been proving it since 1993, with purpose-built accessible yachts, expert crews and life-changing experiences for disabled people, their families and carers.
For over 30 years, we've enabled disabled people to experience the freedom of the sea, through fully supported, inclusive sailing adventures from our base at Port Solent Marina.
Our focus is simple: remove barriers, build confidence, and create unforgettable experiences at sea for everyone onboard.

"It was easier to helm the boat than drive my van. That is when I realised I needed to be at sea."

"This is the best day of my life."

"On Spirit of Scott Bader, we are all just sailors."
Our flagship catamaran, Spirit of Scott Bader, has given over 25,000 people their first taste of ocean sailing. The Dazcat 1500 will double that capacity and open up something entirely new: offshore sailing, multi-day voyages and competitive racing, accessible to everyone.
It will be the only production catamaran of its kind anywhere in the world, with accessibility designed in from the very beginning — widened hulls and doors, spacious heads and changing areas, hull and deck wheelchair lifts, a forward cockpit with all-round visibility and accessible controls, medication fridges, hoists and modular furniture.

£1.2m still needed to complete the build and cover first year running costs.
